About The Position

The Procurement Manager oversees an organization's supply chain, sourcing goods and services while optimizing costs, quality, and vendor performance. He/She develops purchasing strategies, negotiates contracts, manages supplier relationships, and mitigates risks to ensure operational continuity. The Procurement Manager’s key duties include analyzing spending, ensuring compliance, and leading procurement operation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles
  • Must be proficient in ERP software (e.g., Sage, SAP Ariba, Oracle) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Must possess strong negotiation, analytical, leadership, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Establish the company’s procurement program; conduct assessment and analysis, and define structure, procedures and standard practices
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost; ensure supplier performance and quality ratings
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable deals
  • Develop strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency, including analyzing spend data; ensure cost savings
  • Develop contingency plans to prevent supply shortages and logistics delays; manage purchase order cycle times
  • Manage compliance with company policies and legal regulations; track and analyze inventory turnover rates
  • Supervising the procurement department and coordinating with internal departments like finance and operations
