The Procurement Manager will independently lead assigned indirect procurement categories and manage all aspects of the strategic sourcing and procurement lifecycle. This role develops trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers, identifies cost savings and operational efficiencies, evaluates commercial and contractual terms, and develops and implements procurement procedures, tools, and best practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-directed procurement professional with strong problem-solving and analytical skills and experience with procure-to-pay processes. This role will initially operate as an individual contributor without direct reports; however, the Procurement Manager is expected to serve as a visible leader within Procurement by mentoring Procurement Specialists, providing guidance on complex sourcing and negotiation activities, reviewing work, and helping prioritize and coordinate team initiatives. As the Procurement function evolves, this position may assume direct people-management responsibility. The successful candidate can independently drive decisions, solve problems, lead projects, influence stakeholders at all levels, and consistently deliver results in a proactive and deadline-oriented manner.
