About The Position

Ideematec, Inc. is hiring a Procurement Manager to lead purchasing efforts for its U.S. operations. The role manages local procurement activities in the U.S. market, with a focus on project-based purchasing and supplier management. It supports strategic sourcing by identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with local suppliers and subcontractors, and helps ensure materials and services for U.S. solar projects are delivered on time, meet quality requirements, and remain cost-competitive. The Procurement Manager works closely with global supply chain, project management, logistics, engineering, and quality teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in procurement.
Strong knowledge of the U.S. supplier landscape, procurement regulations, and logistics processes.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office tools.
Hands-on, structured, and proactive working style with a strong sense of ownership.
Willingness to travel to suppliers, project sites, and company locations as required.

Nice To Haves

Procurement experience in renewable energy, construction, or manufacturing.
Experience in project-based purchasing or EPC procurement.

Responsibilities

Manage and conduct project-related purchasing activities for solar tracker components in the U.S.
Conduct requests for quotations, evaluate offers, and lead commercial negotiations in line with company standards.
Ensure material availability and timely delivery for ongoing EPC projects.
Ensure compliance with relevant import/export laws, customs requirements, and company trade compliance policies.
Support the global strategic procurement team with supplier selection, contract preparation, and framework agreements.
Work with the Logistics Manager and Logistics team to maintain purchasing and delivery schedules for timely project execution.
Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, and Quality departments to align purchasing needs.
Monitor local market trends, price developments, and supply chain risks in the U.S. region.
Maintain purchasing data and supplier performance records.
Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes and cost optimization initiatives.
