About The Position

Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. A rapidly growing industrial services organization in the Northeast Atlanta metro area in the Buford, GA region is seeking a Procurement Manager to support its expanding operations. This company provides specialized electronic and industrial equipment repair solutions to customers nationwide and is known for its fast-paced, team-oriented environment and strong operational focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management
  • Experience working within industrial, manufacturing, electronics, or repair environments preferred
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
  • Ability to research and source difficult-to-locate components or materials
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency in Excel and purchasing/reporting systems
  • ERP system experience preferred
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing and sourcing activities across multiple operational departments
  • Source electronic, industrial, and hard-to-find replacement components
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and purchasing agreements to drive cost savings
  • Track purchasing trends, monitor spending, and assist with budget management
  • Partner closely with operations, warehouse, and technical teams to forecast inventory and material needs
  • Evaluate supplier performance related to pricing, quality, and delivery
  • Resolve shortages, backorders, and supply chain disruptions
  • Maintain accurate purchasing documentation, reporting, and procurement records
  • Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives throughout the organization
