About The Position

Audubon is currently seeking a Procurement Intern to join our team. The Procurement Intern will support the procurement team with purchasing activities, vendor coordination, data management, and project support activities for active survey, transmission, pipeline, substation, and infrastructure projects. This role will assist with maintaining procurement records, tracking purchase orders, supporting vendor communications, and preparing reports and documentation for internal teams and clients. The position will provide hands-on experience with procurement systems, supplier management, and project-based procurement workflows in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes, purchasing, and supply chain principles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform data review and quality checks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation, editing, organization, and maintenance of procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier documentation
  • Support procurement of materials, equipment, and services for project needs
  • Perform data validation and QA/QC checks to improve data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
  • Assist with tracking purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure timely processing
  • Assist with vendor coordination, onboarding, and maintaining supplier databases
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation for project teams and internal stakeholders
  • Support project teams by coordinating material needs and procurement activities
  • Assist with inventory tracking and logistics coordination as needed
  • Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
  • Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
  • Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
  • Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements
