The Procurement & Cost Manager is responsible for validating project costs and managing the procurement process across all active capital construction projects within the Infrastructure & Development portfolio. The role functions as the team's analytical and sourcing resource, providing independent cost analysis to ensure Base Power receives competitive, well-justified pricing on construction contracts, consultant agreements, and major vendor purchases. The position combines cost engineering and procurement functions. On the cost side, the Procurement & Cost Manager develops independent cost estimates, benchmarks bids and proposals against current market data, and reviews GC change orders for accuracy. On the procurement side, they manage the RFP process, evaluate submissions, support contract negotiations, and maintain vendor qualification records across the portfolio. This role requires strong quantitative and analytical skills, familiarity with construction contracting, and the ability to produce clear, well-supported cost analysis that enables project managers and senior leadership to make informed financial decisions.
