About The Position

This role is for a Procurement Coordinator within the Asset Management Project area. The position requires a blend of technical procurement skills and strong interpersonal abilities, focusing on creating, managing, and tracking purchase orders, developing requisitions, sourcing and managing suppliers, negotiating terms, and tracking budgets. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English, possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, and have at least three years of experience in procurement within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or related discipline
  • At least three (3) years of previous exposure to procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain activities within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry.
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English (good communication)
  • Experience in Purchase Order (PO) creation, management, and tracking.
  • Experience in Requisition development and approval processes.
  • Experience in Supplier sourcing, qualification, and relationship management.
  • Experience in Vendor negotiations, pricing analysis, and contract support.
  • Experience in Budget tracking and cost control initiatives.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar preferred).
  • Experience in Inventory management and asset procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) to support project requirements.
  • Generate and process requisitions in accordance with company procedures and project timelines.
  • Identify, contact, and evaluate potential suppliers for products and services needed by the Asset Management Project.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to obtain competitive pricing, favorable terms, and optimal delivery schedules.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for procurement-related matters.
  • Coordinate with project managers, finance, operations, and technical teams to ensure procurement needs are properly addressed.
  • Track purchase order status and expedite deliveries when necessary.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support contract administration and supplier performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare procurement reports, supplier metrics, and purchasing status updates for project stakeholders.
