About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to support efficient purchasing of materials, supplies, equipment, and services using established systems, policies, and procedures. The role applies strategic procurement practices to solicitation, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract administration in support of company goals. It manages vendor relationships and supports internal controls related to sourcing, coordination, communication, budgeting, and delivery of goods and services. The Buyer leads or supports strategic and operational sourcing initiatives with key stakeholders and adapts to changing business requirements. The role works with Project Managers, executives, Finance leads, functional business leaders, and Training and Implementation teams. It also performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Procurement or Oracle E-Business Suite.
Three to five years of procurement experience managing critical suppliers and contractual agreements, including management and negotiation of outsourcing agreements.
Ability to make decisions, solve problems, prioritize assignments, and direct team members in a changing procurement environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships, particularly in a matrix environment and while leading cross-functional teams.
Proven financial and business acumen.
Experience delivering presentations and recommendations to leadership.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with healthcare-specific products, services, and vendor relationships.
Knowledge of strategic sourcing and the procure-to-pay lifecycle within an ERP environment.
Ability to negotiate complex and critical supplier agreements.
Current knowledge of leading supply-chain practices and benchmarks.
Ability to identify and innovate solutions.
Experience across multiple direct and indirect spend categories.
Strong analytical thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Self-driven, motivated, and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Support purchasing of materials, supplies, equipment, and services using established systems, policies, and procedures.
Support business goals through strategic sourcing and manage procurement risks.
Manage vendor performance and contract adherence, and evaluate new vendors as needed.
Negotiate pricing and deliverables to meet quality standards and business needs; source suppliers to improve quality, on-time service delivery, and cost savings.
Develop, analyze, and manage spend processes, adjusting them as needed.
Establish, lead, and support cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business initiatives and align procurement activity with company objectives.
Manage supplier agreements, including new sources, renewals, negotiation of terms, issue identification, tracking, and resolution.
Research supply-market trends and coordinate with procurement peers on category strategy alignment and execution.
Collaborate with leaders and business partners to understand business requirements.
Drive sourcing and category plans to achieve savings and performance targets.
Balance strategic sourcing, supplier management, and daily procurement operations and analysis.
Identify and implement initiatives to reduce cost, improve quality, and lower total cost of ownership.
Contribute to project plans and key deliverables.
Present recommendations to stakeholders, including leadership.
Assess business impacts and risks with stakeholders; manage supply continuity, develop contingency plans, and establish risk-mitigation strategies.
