Procurement Associate
About The Position
Spire Homes is the vertical construction arm of LeoTerra Development, focused on delivering high-quality commercial and residential building projects. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Associate to support purchasing operations and ensure materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively. The Procurement Associate will play a key role in supporting project teams by managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, tracking deliveries, and helping maintain budgets and schedules. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or construction administration experience preferred
- Experience in construction, building materials, or related industry strongly preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with construction software or ERP systems is a plus
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities
- Source and purchase construction materials, tools, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Request and compare vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing
- Create and manage purchase orders accurately and timely
- Coordinate deliveries to active job sites and office locations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Track lead times, backorders, and material availability
- Work closely with Project Managers and Accounting teams
- Maintain procurement records, pricing logs, and vendor databases
- Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and service agreements
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
