About The Position

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a highly analytical Procurement Analyst to join their Procurement team. This strategic organization oversees spend in several important indirect categories globally. The role involves structuring and analyzing complex datasets to provide actionable recommendations for sourcing decisions, cost optimizations, and supplier performance. The position operates across EU and NA regions in a fast-paced environment with imperfect data, requiring strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Engineering or similar analytical fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data modeling, complex formulas and VBA Macros).
  • Ability to work in a project-based environment, interpret large datasets, and turn complexity into clear insights and pragmatic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills to present insights clearly to different stakeholders across multiple locations (proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working with imperfect data and making sound decisions under uncertainty while maintaining accuracy and delivering results.
  • Fluency in English is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Procurement, Project Management or related Business-oriented role.
  • Proficiency in other European languages.
  • Experience with Power Query, Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, structure, and analyze procurement data from multiple sources (ERP systems, supplier reports, site databases).
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based tools (databases, bid sheets, assessment files) for tenders and decision-making.
  • Analyze supplier performance, pricing, cost structure, and spend to identify savings opportunities.
  • Contribute to supplier negotiations and strategic decisions with clear analysis.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track savings and procurement strategy implementation.
  • Support Category Management activities in North America, including alignment with category strategy, market and supplier analysis, and supplier performance improvement.
  • Support Category Managers in Europe and North America with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and sustainability-driven supplier initiatives.
  • Prepare documentation for supplier meetings, negotiations, or performance reviews.
  • Develop recommendations and track project implementations and savings for the organization.
  • Support execution of complex tenders involving cross-functional teams and stakeholders in different locations.
  • Provide solutions and recommendations even when data is incomplete or imperfect.
  • Uphold high personal standards and expectations for quality and impact.
