Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate, or Experienced Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and is for the 1st shift. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. This is not a Safety Sensitive Position and does not require a Security Clearance. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. This position is not contingent upon program award.
Requirements
- More than 1 year of experience working directly with supplier management
- More than 1 year of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
- More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
- A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
Responsibilities
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
- Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
- Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
