Requirements

Professional experience in supply chain management within an international environment.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate complex information, identify emerging risks, perform risk assessments, and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
Proven ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to identify threats, assess risk levels, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or another related discipline.
Certification, formal training, or hands-on experience in supply management, logistics, or a closely related field.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing competing priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
Experience evaluating supplier performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives that support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, fostering trust, collaboration, and effective communication across cross-functional teams and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex situations, exercise sound judgment, determine when escalation is appropriate, and prepare thorough analyses to support informed decisions.
Innovative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and develop creative, practical solutions to business challenges.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, with experience establishing clear milestones, tracking progress, and delivering results against action-oriented objectives.
Willingness and ability to travel within the United States and internationally, as business needs require.
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

Manage the execution of supplier contracts, including implementing corrective actions to address performance issues related to cost, quality, and delivery.
Develop strong relationships with assigned suppliers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Strategic Sourcing) to improve supplier performance and reduce the total cost of purchased materials.
Implement the supplier relationship management (SRM) strategy for your supplier portfolio, fostering long-term partnerships that support business objectives.
Monitor supplier capacity, ensure the accuracy of supplier promise dates, and track delivery performance. Work directly with suppliers to close performance gaps by proactively identifying risks and implementing recovery plans to ensure customer commitments are met.
Lead supplier performance reviews and work directly with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and operational issues through root cause analysis. Develop effective corrective action plans and implement recovery strategies to optimize supplier performance and achieve business objectives.
Analyze value stream spending and supplier performance data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and increased operational efficiency.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities and sharing best practices across the supply chain organization.
