About The Position

In encouraging students to excel to higher levels of education, Kete Whii / Procon Joint Venture is offering five (5) $1,500 scholarships to successful candidates. We are currently accepting applications for students enrolled in the 2026/2027 school year.

Requirements

Beneficiary of Lutsel K’e Dene Band, Tłı̨chǫ and the Yellowknives Dene First Nation
Enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution
Be considered a full-time student
Letter of interest (minimum 1.5 pages/750 words, maximum 3 pages/1500 words) detailing personal story, current studies/program, and career aspirations.
Mailing Address for fund forwarding.
Two letters of reference (from previous employers or leaders).
Proof of Beneficiary (copy of Treaty Card).
Photocopy of Social Insurance Number.
Copy of acceptance letter from post-secondary institution (if first-year student).
Proof of registration for the coming year (for 2nd year or higher students).
Copy of Official transcript.

Responsibilities
