Trimmers are self-motivated and take pride in their work. They can problem solve, provide analysis, and perform required tasks while adhering to company safety, security, privacy policies and state/local regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience working a production line (with machinery) is preferred: I.e. weight machines, capping machines, conveyor belts, label application, printers, etc.
  • Working on, adjusting and fixing machinery related to a production line.
  • Quality control experience in marijuana, food, or other clean industries
  • Competent at problem solving under pressure of production quotas.
  • Good time management and efficient workflow
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to navigate through corporate office environments with or without the use of mobility aids.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to complete job functions with or without accommodation.
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Processing product in preparation for trim room which includes taking product down from hanging racks, removing buds from stems, checking moisture/verifying desired moisture is met, and weighing/logging all material.
  • Remove fan leaf from branches.
  • Manicure flower in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Remove crows’ feet and leaf while preserving product integrity.
  • Ability to identify diseases such as bud rot and pest damage.
  • Ability to identify strains to prevent mixing batches.
  • Participating in and accountable for quality control
  • Manipulating stem length for highest quality presentation
  • Maintain an organized tray, sorting out small buds/trim, and removing waste/fan leaf from trim.
  • Trimmers should be able to complete a minimum of 5lbs in 8 hours sitting.
  • Cleaning equipment, totes, and workspaces
