About The Position

America's Thrift Stores is hiring Processing Team Members across several areas. This is a hands-on role supporting the flow of merchandise from the dock to the sales floor. With multiple assignments available, candidates may be placed where they’re the best fit. The processing team works together to take great care of items provided by our donors and provide excellent treasures for our customers. Whether we are hanging the perfect jeans or separating out recyclable materials, we combine our passion for customers and community service.

• Love getting a lot done every day
• At least 18 and ready to join our processing team
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment (lifting up to 50 lbs.)
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Sort donated items and identify great finds
• Help identify recyclable items
• Get those great finds sales floor ready
• Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently
• Support the processing and preparation of merchandise for the sales floor
• Inspect, sort, organize, and handle donated items
• Maintain quality standards and efficient workflow
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
• Work closely with team members to keep operations running smoothly
