About The Position

The Processing Support Technician CV role is located in Virginia Beach, VA (Bayside) and is a Full-Time, Clinical position within the Production & Logistics department. The schedule is Saturday-Monday, 5:15 AM - 6:00 PM. This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift, as well as wear personal protective equipment including surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles, and caps. As a Processing Support Technician CV, you will perform all aspects of circulating and in-process documentation of tissues and equipment/materials for all processing cleanrooms in a FDA regulated environment. These roles are critical to the LifeNet Health mission as they are an important step in taking the donor’s gifts and transitioning them to lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe. Your work will have purpose every single day, contributing directly to life-changing outcomes.

Requirements

High School or GED required
Zero years of work experience is required
Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure accuracy and completeness
Able to convey information verbally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Computer Software, Databases
Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload
Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Nice To Haves

One (1) year work experience preferred

Responsibilities

Tissue Circulating support for all processing rooms which includes obtaining necessary equipment/tools/items, preparing processing materials, and preparing samples for transport.
Perform set-up, break-down, and terminal cleaning events for all processing rooms and cleans and inspects general areas as needed, which includes the removal and documentation of post-processing materials and forms and bio-hazardous waste.
Inventory and organize supplies and equipment necessary for processing.
Perform environmental monitoring (touch plating of clean rooms and general areas), prepare processing materials, and orders/stocks supplies and equipment for clean rooms.
Monitor temperatures and maintain specified equipment (freezers, refrigerators, and incubators) as required.
