About The Position

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. The Process Specialist is responsible for performing a specific number of high skills jobs in different departments throughout the division. Team Members will be expected to perform these high skilled jobs to a qualified standard while maintaining a safe working environment and adhereing to Tyson’s Policies and Procedures. Team Members will work with supervisors on a one-on-one basis and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Must be able to interact with supervisors as well as hourly Team Members.
Must be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate positive interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Must have a good safety record.
Successful candidate must have completed 90 day probationary period.
Must have an attendance level of 6 points or less.
Must not have a discipline resulting in a suspension in the past 12 Months.
Must pull full count in 2 of the level A positions (Pull Clods, Bone Chucks, Pull Tenders, Seam Rounds) and 1 of the level B positions (Bone Strips, Pull 13th Rib, Bone Tops, Bone Arms, Bone Ribs, Pull Aitch Bone) or Must pull full count in 3 of the level A positions.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
