About The Position
This role is responsible for cutting flat material into finished parts according to customer drawings. The Processing Specialist I will work within a cell alongside cutting and packaging teams to ensure timely and safe production of high-quality parts. Cross-training with cutting and packaging team members is also a responsibility. The role requires the ability to read and understand orders daily and perform other assigned duties. The schedule for this position is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 AM to 6:30 PM.
Requirements
- Able to stand more than 8 hrs a day
Nice To Haves
- Operates forklift, man lift, and overhead crane, according to NIM procedure
- Knowledge of how to run a 12' shear
Responsibilities
- Cutting flat material into finished parts per drawing, supplied by customer
- Works in a cell with the cutting and packaging teams to produce great quality parts in a timely and safe manner
- Cross train with a cutting and packaging team member
- Reads/understands orders on a daily basis
- Performs all other duties as assigned
