About The Position

This posting is for a Processing Specialist I position in Emporia, Kansas, specifically for a weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm) with an hourly wage of $21.11. The role involves operating a laser, performing routine cutting and troubleshooting. The specialist is responsible for reviewing work orders from the sales department to ensure accuracy in quantities, specifications, process capabilities, delivery schedules, packaging requirements, and material availability. A key aspect of the job is to ensure the final product meets both company and customer expectations. The position requires effective communication across all departments and a positive attitude, with a strong emphasis on performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner at all times. Requirements

• Must pass drug test and background check
• CNC experience
• Must communicate effectively to all departments and employees of the company
• Must show a positive attitude in position
• Computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook programs
• Complete knowledge of the laser
• Must be able to exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10-25lbs. of force frequently, and/or 10-20lbs. constantly to move objects
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and cut list
• Perform routine cutting and troubleshooting efficiently and effectively using the laser
• Review work orders from the sales department to verify quantities, specifications, process capabilities, delivery schedule, packaging requirements and availability
• Ensure that the final product is finished and packaged to company and customer expectations
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner at all times
