The processing operator operates and adjusts all process equipment for smooth and productive operations; monitors lineflow and waste; corrects problems which affect quality and production costs; and makes line changes as directed by the production lead or team leader. Maintains safe work practices at all times and participates in safety programs. Changes water knives as needed. Performs waste evaluations and changes grader screens as needed. Operates equipment and makes adjustments as needed. Mains even lineflow. Monitors and maintains product quality and attributes. Communicates with other personnel: line status, quality, and other problems. Must understand function and hazards of various cleaning chemicals, and must be able to perform various product testing procedures. Must be able to work independently. Shoveling product spills. Completes production forms as required. Enters checks into computer. Sanitation of area. Breaking of other areas. Performs weekend cleanup as assigned. Performs and participates in AMD drumbeats
