About The Position

3M is seeking Processing Operator candidates for 3M Indianapolis, Indiana. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Processing Operator I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by maintaining standards for all materials and products, maintaining all products for proper testing and receiving, maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors, and maintaining quality & safety standards. Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

Requirements

Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
Minimum two (2) months of previous experience of operating production machinery.
Working 8–10-hour shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekend, holidays (as needed), and short notice shift coverage.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Basic computer knowledge
6 months to 1 year of operating production machinery.
Ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of Inventory Systems.
Working a team/group

Responsibilities

Maintaining standards for all materials and products.
Maintaining all products for proper testing and receiving.
Maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors.
Maintaining quality & safety standards.
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
