About The Position
Processing Operator 2 will be responsible for cooking pasta per standard operating procedures to ensure quality and safety standards. Start time is 2:00 PM with varying end time. Monday – Friday.
Requirements
- Know and follow the HACCP and SQF programs, and standard operating procedures.
- Safety conscious.
- Have or be able to attain a Pallet Jack and Forklift license.
- Self-motivated
- Excellent organizational skills
- Follow all food and safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Team player attitude and willingness to fill in as needed.
- Have positive communication with others and timely reporting of concerns or questions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak, read and understand English.
Responsibilities
- Learn and follow all MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP programs.
- Comply with all Food Safety procedures.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Set up, sanitize, wash down, and break down machinery per standard operating procedures.
- Accurately and safely follow procedures to set-up and operate all pasta cooking equipment.
- Monitor the cooking process to ensure that all settings remain properly adjusted and pasta is cooked correctly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
