About The Position

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the preparation of proposals based on customers' incoming requests for quotes. This person must have the ability to interpret customers' technical and commercial documents to ensure the quotations meet both the company's and the customer's requirements. Develop the capability to quote all assigned products for the market Business Line served globally to customers per the go-to-market strategy service level requirements. Respond to customer phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner. Review incoming requests from the filtering team and/or direct from the customer, review customer requirements, including technical and commercial specifications and documents. Calculate price and discounts utilizing the approved process and price lists. Coordinate with the appropriate costing/pricing authority when products or special adders are outside of the standard price lists. Provide solutions or offer alternatives to the customer inquiries that meet their requirements. Prepare and send quotations on time that exceed the customer's expectations. Cultivate friendly, personal relationships with key customers, learning their needs and preferences. Provide accurate and timely information to customers, field sales personnel, and others regarding orders, inquiries, and other related activities.
