About The Position

The Linen Seamstress is part of a team responsible for linen production flow activities under the direction of the Linen Department Supervisor and/or the Internal Operations Assistant Director.

Requirements

• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
• Must be familiar with all aspects of sewing and sewing machine use
• At least two years seamstress experience
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lb
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Following the best practices for safety
• Prepare finished products ready to be entered into inventory
• Implement best use of raw materials to reach end goal
• Read daily reports and daily reviews of incoming work needs
• Have the ability to identify different fabrics and patterns
• Maintains up to date inventory counts of necessary supplies
• Creates and maintains a clean and organized work environment
• Maintain sewing equipment in working order
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
