About The Position

Blue Ocean Mariculture is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Processing & Distribution Team Member to support daily operations. This role involves the safe handling, processing, packaging, storage, delivery, and movement of product, materials, and supplies. The team member will assist with various processing and distribution activities to ensure product quality, food safety, biosecurity, and customer service standards are met. The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and biosecurity procedures at all times.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude, professional conduct and appearance.
• Ability to stay organized and accurate in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to follow instruction and work independently and communicate effectively with the team.
• Ability to pass forklift and Gradall certification.
• Ability to operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and attention to detail.
• Must have basic math proficiency.
• Must be able to bend, stand, walk, kneel and lift up to: 20lbs consistently, 40lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Process, pack, label and prepare product according to company quality standards and customer requirements.
• Receive, handle, store, move, and deliver products, materials, supplies, and inventory in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment and delivery maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Operate company vehicles, forklift, and other equipment following required training and certification.
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory tracking activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, equipment, vehicle, storage, etc.
• Follow all company safety, food safety, quality assurance, biosecurity, and cold-chain procedures.
• Communicate operations, equipment, inventory, or product concerns to the manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of processing and distribution operations.
