The role involves data input and retrieval, creating authorizations, processing claims, ordering equipment (aids, appliances, AT), setting up case files, and communicating with consumers, vendors, other DSB staff, and visitors both in writing and verbally. Additionally, the position handles general office support tasks such as answering phones, managing mail, greeting visitors, checking in equipment, sending faxes, and providing basic technical support for office equipment and software. The Division of Services for the Blind aims to help visually impaired, blind, and deaf-blind individuals achieve their goals of independence and employment.
