About The Position

The Processing Agent is an essential role responsible for processing harvest materials. The role involves handling flower material and, in Massachusetts only, using a Mobius machine trimmer and treatment machine, as well as grating and sorting processed material. The agent weighs and logs material, collects samples, and performs tests to ensure quality. They maintain a sanitary work environment, safely transport products to storage, and perform all functions to high standards of quality and compliance, including following PPE expectations. The ideal candidate has experience in an operation with strict health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures.
• Ability to measure, package, and label precisely.
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work around plant material, with possible exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and perform repetitive hand actions for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to torso level.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience working in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process harvest flower material.
• Use heavy machinery, including a Mobius machine trimmer and treatment machine (Massachusetts only).
• Grate and sort processed material.
• Weigh and log material.
• Collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality.
• Maintain a sanitary work environment.
• Safely transport products from the workspace to the storage area.
• Follow PPE expectations and perform all functions to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
