Join the power movement as a Process Technician We’re looking for a Process Technician to join our R&D and pilot team to help build the next generation of thin-film deposition technology. The Process Technician will be responsible for processing tool operation and measurement system operation, sample measurement, data entry and reporting. The role will interact with R&D technical staff, process engineers, and metrology engineers. This role requires attention to detail, procedural discipline and timely execution. Requirements

  • Associate degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a process or metrology technician in thin film R&D and manufacturing
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to take directions from supervisors and work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness with hands-on work
  • Ability and patience to work through projects from start to finish, including test execution, data collection and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability in reading and understanding technical instructions and manuals
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Perform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
  • Dedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally, including compressed work-week shift schedule

Nice To Haves

  • B.S. in a technical field (or equivalent industrial experience)
  • Experience in the semiconductor, battery, solar cell, optoelectronics or related fields
  • Experience working in a fabrication facility

Responsibilities

  • Operate thin film process equipment and thin film metrology systems
  • Execute experimental and test plans and document results
  • Use data management systems including laboratory information management systems and manufacturing execution systems
