About The Position
The successful applicant will support and help improve ongoing business activities in a powder metal manufacturing plant. This function will also be a key participant in development of new process or applications.
Requirements
- Solid experience in Cincinnati Rigid Reflex Gasbarre Press
- Experience with multi-action and hydraulic presses.
- High School diploma or GED plus a minimum of 5 years of experience as Class “AA” Die Setter.
Responsibilities
- Training of Die Setters (molding and sizing)
- Help develop robust processing techniques that reduce scrap or improve throughput
- Assist in product redesign to resolve product or production difficulties.
- Participate in development of new processes or applications.
- Tooling Support
- New Product Development
- Troubleshooting and Equipment Specifications Support
- Support Continuous Improvement Projects
