Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have ability to become proficient with process equipment.
• Must be quality conscious and detail oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities as well as easily adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment is operating effectively, reporting, and communicating deficiencies with the production supervisor. Operates equipment according to SOPs.
• Works with the lead material handler to ensure proper raw materials are staged and prepped for production and with quality department to inspect raw materials.
• Follows specific recipes provided by production manager.
• Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and safety standards.
• Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
• Other duties as assigned
