US Farathane is seeking an experienced Process Technician. This role involves developing work measurement procedures and directing time-and-motion studies to promote efficient and economical utilization of personnel and facilities. The technician will perform essential duties including observation and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine time-and-motion requirements, acting as a backup for the Supervisor, and analyzing work study data to establish time and production standards. The role also requires applying mathematical analysis to work study statistics, implementing Continuous Improvement Methodology, and addressing out-of-control process conditions by making machine adjustments and documenting changes. The technician will ensure products run with a decoupled process and to established cycles, be responsible for new and existing tool tryouts, and review defects with the production manager daily. Active participation in IPPM & Scrap teams and submitting cost-saving ideas are also key responsibilities. Safety protocols, including Lock-Out Tag-Out training and proper PPE usage (hard hat, burn protection gauntlets, cut gloves), are mandatory. The technician will fill out daily process monitor sheets, respond professionally to concerns, and adhere to safe driving practices for hi-lo operation. Supervisory responsibilities include assisting the supervisor and acting as supervisor in their absence. Environmental responsibilities may include participation in environmental response teams, fire brigades, or as a First Responder, and providing On-the-Job Training (OJT).
