About The Position

XNRGY Climate Systems is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site Process Engineering Tech to join their team for the 2nd shift, running from 4:30PM-3AM. This position will perform continuous improvement and sustainment of manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and ensure proper quality. XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems focused on research and energy development contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment
  • Familiarity with work instructions, standard work, and process documentation
  • Comfortable working hands-on in a production environment
  • Basic data analysis skills (Excel, MES systems preferred)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Basic CAD familiarity
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Support Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Assist in maintaining and improving assembly and manufacturing processes with a focus on ergonomics, efficiency, and quality
  • Collect data for line balancing activities to support takt time and production targets
  • Answer questions and train operations for updates to MES work instructions, including quality checkpoints, traceability, and torque/parameter recording
  • Support implementation and maintenance of tooling, fixtures, and production equipment
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues and identifying root causes
  • Support layout changes, material flow improvements, and workstation setups
  • Support execution of CapEx projects and collaborate with equipment vendors to support volume ramps and process optimization
  • Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI), prototypes, and production readiness through cross-functional collaboration
  • Support technical documentation, failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation
  • Support production performance data collection and improvement initiatives to meet output, quality, and safety goals
  • Provide hands-on support during production ramp-ups and process changes
