About The Position

Kodak Moments Colorado (KMC) is seeking a Process Technician with 2-5 years of experience. This position will support finishing and packaging manufacturing operations and “fill the factory” efforts at KMC to maximize the manufacturing facility's capacity and uptime. This is a day‑shift position with the expectation of occasional off‑hours work and on‑call support as needed. The Process Technician will partner with engineers, operators, mechanics, technicians, and external vendors to: Provide mechanical, electrical, software, and control systems support for production equipment. Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime. Deliver day-to-day support for manufacturing equipment and operations. Sustain, improve, and modernize existing manufacturing processes and equipment. Contribute to projects that optimize capacity, efficiency, quality, and cost savings by identifying bottlenecks and implementing data-driven solutions. Design hardware, software, and process solutions to drive continuous improvement. Create documentation and provide technical training on manufacturing equipment and processes. Maintain preventative maintenance documentation and schedules.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work safely and follow established safety procedures.
  • Experience creating technical reports, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Experience with control systems and manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
  • Proficient with interpreting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams and drawings.
  • Adapt quickly and work effectively in a team.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas to peers and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, manufacturing or similar field
  • Experience with slitter rewinder machines
  • Experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLCs or other PLCs
  • Experience with automated and robotic equipment
  • Experience with SolidWorks, Solidworks Electrical, and SolidWorks PDM (or similar software)
  • 3D Printing / Prototyping skills
  • Familiarity with communication/data systems like GLS, SQL databases, and OPC.
  • Familiarity with RFID applications.
