About The Position

TSMC Arizona is recruiting Process Technician apprentices for its 2027 Technician Apprenticeship Program. This two-year program combines structured on-the-job training with a mentor, related technical instruction delivered by an education partner in a classroom or online, and personal and professional development. The program is aligned with industry standards and combines elements of TSMC’s Taiwan-based training programs and U.S.-based apprenticeship models. Apprentices are full-time TSMC AZ employees and learn alongside experienced mentors, coaches, and leaders. After successful completion, apprentices are expected to perform functions in their specific apprenticeship field. Process Technicians work in an office-based operations environment, monitoring wafer processing and responding to alarms and real-time issues by analyzing situations and following standard operating procedures. They use Microsoft Office and internal manufacturing systems, work with teams and leadership to support production efficiency and quality, identify production issues and bottlenecks, and assist engineers as needed. Apprentices are expected to follow company safety rules, policies, procedures, and the Apprenticeship Agreement; attend and participate in instructional programs; maintain required academic progress; track training hours; and demonstrate dedication to learning.
