Process Technician RA-1

About The Position

This role is responsible for handling materials, monitoring the production process, conducting quality inspections, and collaborating with team members to ensure operational efficiency and excellence. The Process Technician will also practice lean manufacturing principles, perform packing and material handling, and serve as the main backup for the RA-1 Lead Operator when absent. A strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement is essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Familiarity with process control systems, quality checks, and inspection
• Must be able to read a ruler and understand fractions, and demonstrate basic math skills
• Must be able to work well with others and in a diverse workforce environment
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged periods of standing
• Ability to sit, stand for the majority of the shift
• Ability to walk, jump, twist, turn, stop, bend, push, pull, squat, crawl, kneel, climb, balance, drive, reach above shoulder, repetitive hand/wrist movement, forearm rotation.
• Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment

Responsibilities

• Handle materials and ensure their efficient and timely delivery to the production line
• Monitor the production process to ensure optimal efficiency and quality output
• Conduct regular quality inspections to identify any deviations or issues in the production process
• Collaborate closely with team members to troubleshoot and address any operational challenges
• Practice lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Perform packing and material handling tasks as required
• Demonstrates a deliberate focus on safety, quality, continuous improvement
• Main backup when RA-1 Lead Operator is absent and as needed
• Performs other job duties as assigned
