About The Position

The Process Technician learns both latex and alkyd resin. This role prepares the pre-weighs for the product, follows the batch ticket and instructions for the product they are making. Process Technician adds the raw materials into the kettles, watches the temperatures, conducts double checks and quality checks, documents data on paper and within the computer system then transfers the batch to holding tank. Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and vendors.

• Must be able to operate heavy machinery.
• Must be able to access proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value.

Responsibilities

• Prepares pre-weighs for the product.
• Follows the batch ticket and instructions for the product being made.
• Adds raw materials into the kettles.
• Monitors temperatures.
• Conducts double checks and quality checks.
• Documents data on paper and within the computer system.
• Transfers the batch to holding tank.
