About The Position

Our site in Colorado Springs Rockrimmon, CO is seeking a Process Technician to join our team. In this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing workflows by overseeing material flow, supporting process reliability and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process lifecycle. This is a 2nd shift position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 4-7 years of related experience
  • Master Molder experience certification or equivalent required.
  • Supporting production equipment, process troubleshooting or technical manufacturing operations preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer proficiency, including email, data entry and excel.
  • Ability to work safely around machinery, chemicals, and material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality compliance.
  • Flexibility to work any shift needed to support production requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, standard operating procedures, routings, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations (measurements, counts, conversions) required for manufacturing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot production machine failures and execute remedial actions to minimize halted operations.
  • Participate in investigations related to internal and external complaints, ensuring thorough document and follow-through
  • Support Engineers with validations, process development and management of change.
  • Participate and lead in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and safety.
  • Lead in updating Master Cycle Sheets, procedures and other controlled documents.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues using appropriate tools, systems, and methodologies.
  • Provide limited KPI reporting and contribute to ongoing KPI improvement efforts
  • Actively support EHS initiatives, including hazard identification, safe work practices and participation in safety meetings or audits.
  • Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and other activities focused on improving quality, efficiency, and workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment, follow PPE requirements and promptly report safety concerns.
