About The Position

This role is for a Process Technician II who will work on the cleanroom manufacturing floor. The position requires manual dexterity for fine fiber handling and equipment adjustments, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and the capacity to wear cleanroom garments for a full shift. The work environment is a controlled cleanroom optical manufacturing facility, involving exposure to controlled fiber materials, precision equipment, and cleanroom processes. The shift is a day shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Extensive experience and proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D Modelling and Solidworks
• Historical hands-on experience in 3D modelling, design, printing and testing mechanical components
• Proficiency in SPC, MES, and process data analysis
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, specifications, and procedures
• Understanding of cleanroom operations and contamination control
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Attention to consistent material handling procedures with an awareness of safe material transport according to environmental and hazardous materials protocols
• Manual dexterity for fine fiber handling and equipment adjustments
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to wear cleanroom garments for full shift

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with high-count or rollable ribbon fiber products, optical fiber handling, ribbonization, and precision equipment
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• Experience supporting rapid production scale-up in a cleanroom environment
