Process Technician - Casting

Requirements
- Must possess good interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- a minimum of 1 year experience in process related field.
- Strong Computer and Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Manufacturing, Die Casting Preferred
Nice To Haves
- Lean Manufacturing background & Six Sigma preferred
- Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Problem Solving & DOE
Responsibilities
- Process compliance: casting, die lube, plunger lube ratios, cycle times
- Support Die Sets as needed.
- Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.
- Operate or tend metal casting.
- Promotes good housekeeping (5S)
- Perform other duties as required.
