About The Position

This role is designed to explore, experiment, and uncover opportunities where AI can make a significant impact. The AI Process & Systems Analyst will act as an investigator, builder, and translator, connecting cutting-edge AI tools with practical business solutions. Reporting to the IT manager, this role involves working across various departments to ask the right questions, run pilots, and transform promising ideas into practical AI solutions. While project management and process ownership remain with the PMO and department teams, the primary focus is applying AI expertise to existing systems to enhance operations.

Requirements

1+ years of experience working with AI tools, automation platforms, or emerging technologies
Ability to evaluate and clearly communicate the value of new tools and solutions
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot inefficiencies and simplify solutions
Hands-on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, or workflow automation
Comfortable working across teams and translating technical ideas into practical use
Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Curious, collaborative, and motivated to experiment and learn
Must love dogs (we mean it-we're dog-friendly!)
Employee must be able to see and hear, read and write.
Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, judgment, reading, speaking, following direction, handling multiple priorities, reasoning.

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing, operations, or apparel (recommended)
Exposure to process improvement or continuous improvement environments (recommended)

Responsibilities

Research and evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to Lakeshirts operations
Identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual effort, improve quality, or accelerate output
Design and run structured AI pilots; document results and present recommendations
Build and test AI prompts, workflows, and automation concepts to validate ideas
Partner with the IT Manager to prioritize and align AI initiatives
Stay current on AI tools, trends, and best practices-and bring insights back to the team
Support teams in learning and effectively using new AI tools
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand workflows and explore AI integration
Contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
