About The Position

The Process Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring adherence to cGMP and GDP requirements, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires critical thinking, sound judgment, and effective communication skills. The supervisor will collaborate with various departments, monitor performance, lead improvement initiatives, and support the team as needed. Key responsibilities include schedule development and execution, performance monitoring, process analysis, and ensuring data integrity.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of cGMP and GDP requirements.
  • Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment when making critical decisions.
  • Ability to navigate company quality and/or enterprise systems.
  • Ability to coordinate closely with shift supervisors across all three shifts.
  • Ability to generate, read, and interpret metrics and develop visual presentations for group discussions.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently and be flexible to changing priorities.
  • Strong personal computer skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Resourceful, self-reliant, self-motivated, and confident.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects cross-functionally.
  • Must be a self-starter who takes initiative to complete own tasks as well as to drive completion of team’s assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Planning department and support groups to develop short-term schedules aligned with forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Shift Supervisors and support teams on all shifts to ensure the schedule is understood and executed as planned.
  • Liaise with Project Managers for development and engineering activities to ensure smooth execution.
  • Coordinate with shift supervisors to ensure full scope is understood.
  • Partner with OpEx and/or Data Analytic personnel to gather data on key performance indicators.
  • Review daily production performance against established goals and drive accountability, including production throughput, downtime, changeovers, and quality events.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to monitor safety, quality, and delivery performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze data routinely to develop potential process improvements and set clear goals for the team.
  • Lead cost savings initiatives.
  • Remain reasonably flexible to support the team as needed, including shift coverage during PTO or high-priority activities and availability for escalation of events.
  • Ensure upcoming jobs are supportable by performing document reviews and approvals.
  • Support investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action assignments, and impact/risk assessments.
  • Ensure documentation is completed following GDP requirements, reinforcing and monitoring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with area managers to ensure approved headcount is adequate to support demand.
