About The Position

ProVest, a large legal support services firm, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in Montgomery County, TN. Applicants must reside in Tennessee, preferably near Sumner County. As a Private Process Server, you will work independently to deliver legal documents such as foreclosure, collection, civil, and litigation notices on behalf of leading law firms and financial institutions. This is a 1099 contract position with weekly pay per completed job.

Requirements

• Live in or near the listed counties
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Comfortable using mobile technology
• Value accuracy, honesty, and professionalism
• Tennessee residency (near listed counties preferred)
• Availability 3–5 days per week, including Saturdays
• Ability to complete 15–20 service attempts per day
• Willingness to visit courthouses for document pickup and drop-off
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Access to a computer, printer, and scanner
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas
• Manage assignments using ProVest’s mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile)
• Return completed documents
• Plan routes and manage your own schedule
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times
