About The Position

Join Lonza's Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) team and play a key role in supporting technology transfer and commercial manufacturing activities. This position offers the opportunity to apply scientific and engineering expertise to help deliver life-changing therapies while working in a highly collaborative GMP manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience supporting manufacturing processes, technology transfer, or process development activities.
Knowledge of GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Experience authoring and reviewing technical documentation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree or PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical lead for technology transfer and manufacturing process support activities.
Develop process understanding, perform risk assessments, and support process improvement initiatives.
Author and review process descriptions, batch records, change controls, and other technical documentation.
Monitor manufacturing performance, analyze process data, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Support deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and product quality assessments.
Represent MSAT on customer-facing and internal project teams, including audits and operational meetings.
Support lot release activities and ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
