Requirements

• Proficiency in sampling and specimen collection techniques.
• Sound knowledge of mineral processing operations, including crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, filtration, and related processes.
• Ability to perform quality control inspections and interpret laboratory and process analysis results.
• Experience in monitoring and controlling key process parameters such as pH, density, flow rate, particle size distribution, concentration, and moisture content.
• Proficiency in the use of measurement and control instruments, including pH meters, densitometers, precision balances, particle size analyzers, and conductivity meters.
• Strong understanding of analytical methods and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with production monitoring and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, CMMS, and industrial process supervision software.
• Knowledge and application of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards and best practices.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2/Bac+3 equivalent) in Process Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining, metallurgical, chemical, or industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and quality control inspections at various stages of the production process.
• Conduct routine analyses in accordance with established procedures and standard operating instructions.
• Monitor process parameters and promptly report any deviations or abnormalities.
• Track quality performance indicators and accurately complete quality control records.
• Participate in investigations of non-conformities and contribute to the implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Laboratory, and Maintenance teams to ensure process stability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) procedures and quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control methods and operational performance.
