About The Position

The Process & Performance Manager drives continuous improvement and operational efficiency within Heven AeroTech’s Logistics and Manufacturing network. You will monitor and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, manufacturing throughput, and supply chain performance. This role combines analytical insight with process leadership to improve operational performance, deploy Lean methodologies, and support global logistics transformation initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics, this position is primarily based on-site at our Winchester, VA facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics performance management.
  • Proven track record in process mapping, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and visualization skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar BI tools).
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to operate in a humble, cross-functional environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense manufacturing environments.
  • Lean or Continuous Improvement certification (Green Belt, Kaizen Practitioner, etc.).
  • Understanding of ISO and AS9100 quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead performance management initiatives across facilities and the broader logistics network with a hungry focus on measurable improvement.
  • Govern and standardize order-to-invoice and material flow processes in alignment with global operations objectives.
  • Drive root cause analysis, performance reporting, and business review cycles (weekly/monthly) focused on logistics and production performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally in a humble and collaborative manner to identify and execute process improvements that enhance throughput, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Perform detailed data analysis on logistics and manufacturing KPIs to support smart, data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and automated reports using Business Intelligence tools.
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for process improvement.
  • Deploy Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Practical Problem Solving (PPS).
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement across logistics and manufacturing teams through hands-on engagement and leadership by example.
  • Facilitate Kaizen workshops and standardization efforts to strengthen process maturity.
  • Support enterprise-wide risk and opportunity management related to logistics and supply chain performance.
  • Maintain and update the Operations Risk & Opportunity Register.
  • Contribute to logistics transformation and digitalization projects.
  • Support budget tracking and financial performance alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with global process and performance teams to share best practices.
  • Participate in internal maturity assessments and operational audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
