Join us in Miami, OK—together, we are expanding our capabilities to shape the future of pet care. As a Process Operator, you’ll work hands-on with a collaborative team to support to production. With safety top of mind, you’ll ensure that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition as you use your quick problem-solving skills to address equipment needs throughout the operation day. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment
  • Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and batch commodities and/or meat slurry into accurate batches of mixed meal delivered through the hammer mill mixing and screening systems.
  • Operate a forklift to efficiently transport materials.
  • Safely operate production and processing equipment.
  • Perform quality checks and meet product specifications.
  • Perform sanitation duties and material handling.
  • Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment, using lock out procedures as prescribed.
  • Utilize computer technology and basic math skills to perform job duties.
  • Occasionally work at high heights within plant to fulfill job duties.
