About The Position

The Process Department's purpose is to supply the packaging lines with product that meets all specifications in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that minimizes costs. Work Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM Starting Pay Rate: $35.18 + $0.95 Shift Differential

Requirements

• 1-3 years chemical experience.
• Demonstrated technical skill and ability, mechanical and machine/process troubleshooting.
• Thorough understanding of valves, pumps, piping, product flow, etc.
• Strong math and arithmetic
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years rail king experience preferred.
• 1-year fork truck experience preferred.
• Demonstrated improvement results for their functional areas/teams or previous work experience.
• DOT/confined space experience

Responsibilities

• Ensures a safe working environment and that the right procedures and processes are being followed to work safely.
• Ensures delivery of quality batches to both Home Care and Bleach packaging lines. This includes completion of all required quality checks, product testing, and correct calculations for blending and ingredient ratios.
• Perform all Block 6 Process Operator duties as outlined in the multi-skill certification checklist(s).
• Effectively ensures consistent product supply to Bleach and Home Care; includes effective communication (escalation) and resolution to issues that impact product delivery.
• Ensures effective execution of department AM/PM GME area of excellence.
• Champion of Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) and the Clorox leadership principles (myLeadership).
• Effectively completes department training objectives and milestones.
• Effectively completes day to day inventory and raw materials.
