Process Operator - Water Treatment and Cooling

In this hands on role you will qualify and perform the operating responsibilities with the Energy and Utilities - Water Treatment and Colling area.
Requirements
- Two years of working experience as a Power Engineer
- 4th Class Power Engineering certificate
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Understanding of Alberta Safety Code Regulation, which includes ASME Codes
Nice To Haves
- Potable water or Domestic Wastewater qualifications considered an asset

Responsibilities
- Learn and adhere to management systems
- Train and become qualified on multiple posts in a reasonable timeframe
- Operate the equipment in a safe, efficient manner according to established practices, procedures and operating guidelines
- Start-up, shutdown and Isolate equipment for maintenance activities
- Perform operator care rounds and routines.
- Enter work notifications for all deficiencies requiring maintenance support
- Monitor and adjust equipment and process variables to maintain a safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation and to ensure product quality
- Enter quality shift logs at the end of each shift and perform quality shift handover with incoming shift
