Process Operator, Molding (3rd Shift)

Schneider Electric•Lincoln, NE

About The Position

The Process Operator tends and operates automated and semi-automated machinery and equipment used to rivet, install working parts, assemble, inspect, test, repair, and pack single-pole (1P) and QO-style electrical breakers. Work consists of multiple tasks performed in a systematic rotation among workstations during the shift, typically in four-hour increments. Primary rotation tasks include running AMI, ANDI, and HOM AMI machines; performing on-line repairs for those processes; and working in Packing Cell Lines A, B, and C. Skill-level certification is required for each rotation task. Operators tend one or more machines and move product along the line in a machine-paced environment for most tasks. Occasional stoppages or interruptions may require an increased pace to reduce bottlenecks and meet shift production targets. Physical activities also include handling bins and totes, inspecting parts, and occasionally lifting boxes, tubs, and totes. The position is third shift.
