This position is for the 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 11 PM - 7:30 AM).

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of injection molding machine processing experience OR an Associate’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Plastic Engineering, Plastic Engineering Technology, or similar Plastic degree.
Experience processing injection molding machines that manufacture highly cosmetic plastic parts.

Nice To Haves

This position may require hot work, standing up to 100%, lifting up to 75 lbs, overhead work, kneeling, bending, crawling, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working at heights.

Responsibilities

Set-up, process, and run “1st piece” for injection molding machines that manufacture plastic parts for headlight and tail light assemblies, ensuring quality parts are being manufactured.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and/or other management personnel to debug and troubleshoot any molding machine issues.
Clean hoppers and prepare the area for material changeovers.
Make necessary equipment changeovers.
Handle other job duties as assigned.
